Happy Halloween!

The High School held a parade for their homecoming here in town on Friday after school. Behind that all the kids 13 years and younger walked behind it in the Halloween Kiddie Parade. First was the fire engines then the band and cheerleaders, the court and dance squad and a bunch of teens to fill in the space.


Next was all the kids.

at the end everyone got a bag full of goodies.

Abbi got a coupon for a free ice cream cone in town so we stopped in for that after dinner. It was a good night for ice cream. A chilly 35 degrees outside makes it perfect.

Saturday, we had the day to enjoy so we (and by we I mean me)carved the pumpkin. The I baked some cookies, while we watched "Goonies".
Time to decorate our cookies,

then best of all, time to eat them!

The local Wal-Mart hosts a trunk or treat that is very popular here. A easy way to get a load of candy.
