Our 4th was spent as a family, the three of us together. Abbi and I are going to Renton to visit with family and friends on Tuesday and, on the 13th, we are headed to Arizona. That makes roughly 3 weeks without Jason. So of course every minute we have to do something with each other is relished. We made a traditional day of it.
We made decorations and threw pop-its off our balcony.
Had a Bar-B-Q lunch,
Got yummy cool down snacks at the fair grounds.
There was a car show and a band and later the city fire work show.
We walked back home and watched the fireworks from our own balcony. It's cool living 2 blocks from the fairgrounds.
