We love family time

With all of the lakes and rivers here it seems so silly not to spend at least one day of the week out playing. Usually, it's not very crowded and once we had the lake to ourselves, and twice we ended up meeting someone we know who had the same idea as us and instant beach buddies. It's so wonderful having natural resources at our fingertips.

This is a momma hawk watching over her babies. We didn't see any babies but we could hear them and we saw her carry a dead snake into the nest yucky!
