Snow Day!

We have always lived (during Abbi's 6 years of schooling) in places where snow fell so much that it didn't matter. So Abbi has never had a day off from school. When we moved to Colville we asked her new 2nd grade teacher, if school ever got canceled because of the white stuff. She said that she had never seen it closed for snow but once the school was closed because the cold busted pipes but never snow. Now that we're back in the Pacific part of the Northwest, we just needed the first snow to fly and we are out of school. Today is her second snow day and if it doesn't warm up I bet she won't have school tomorrow either.

Here I think they just know when to say- snow is for staying home and building forts. So that what we do. Hope you do too.
What do you do when there is 3 inches of snow in your yard and they cut school for the day?
