Jason's Day Off

Abbi at the farm
having lunch

so much fun to be had at the park, not another soul around. Hope it was a public park.
It was a Saturday and Jason had the day off. Not that he works every day, but, he is on call almost every night which means there is no getting away from home if we want. It's the way things work around here and that's fine with us, however, Saturday he could leave all day if he wanted and so it only made sense that we did. But what to do? Should we go to Spokane? No, not that interested, plus we didn't want to spend much money. Go to a movie? The one screen theater in town is playing Mama Mia. I love Abba, Jason and Abbi, not so much. Lets just go for a drive. Okay, cool. So, we went North, Almost to the Canadian Border before we turned around (whoopie! We went 30 miles.) Then we went to a park to play. Abbi was getting restless. Wish we would have thought of a picnic lunch. So we went to a local drive in burger joint. Then we decided to go pick corn at a local farm. It was so good we ended up eating 12 ears between the three of us in two nights. Time to go get some more.
