There are just some things you do only in the Autumn time.
Yesterday, Abbi had a chance to have a friend spend the night with her. What a great time for me to use some old school activities to entertain them. I had been waiting for Halloween to be over so I could hit the candy sales. It was time to make Carmel apples. Neither girl even knew what a Carmel apple was (gasp). So, we made them. Melting Carmel, dipping apples, and decorating them with nuts, M&M's, and sprinkles. When it was time to sink our teeth in them, it turned into a dentist nightmare, Carmel everywhere! However, all you could hear audibly from us where the yums'. Making Carmel apples is just one of those things you only do in the Autumn time.
